Daily Astrology Forecasts - for Each Day of The Week Ahead

All times given in this forecast are in Eastern Daylight Time; please adjust to your time zone.
The entire week is building in intensity as we push forward to Saturday, when Uranus makes its final ingress into Gemini, where it will remain through 2032. Uranus entered Gemini briefly between July and November 2025, offering a glimpse of what is now about to begin in earnest. Each of the outer planets has a very specific objective. For Uranus, that job is the task of Awakening. It will disrupt anything that has grown dull or rigid. It will show something that has not yet been imagined. It may do this suddenly or shockingly.
As Uranus moves into Gemini, it brings awakening to issues of communication, information, and how we understand the accelerated movement of the world around us. The house that holds Gemini in your natal chart is where this awakening takes place in your life. That area of life will likely be the place of both excitement and anxiety in the coming weeks and even years. This will not be an area of life where you will be able to rest on your laurels.
Monday, April 20: Mercury Conjunct Saturn. Mercury Conjunct Mars. Moon in Gemini.
Monday arrives with two significant Mercury conjunctions. Both of these conjunctions occur in Aries; this is hot energy, direct and determined. The first, Mercury conjunct Saturn at 7:22 am EDT, begins a cycle of structuring and disciplining the mind or the ability to communicate. Mercury represents the thinking mind, how we gather information, and how we communicate what we know. Saturn represents the demand for clarity and usefulness. When these two meet, consider the importance of serious thinking and disciplined communication. If you have something important to say, plant a metaphoric seed to make that a reality.
At 5:44 pm EDT, Mercury joins with Mars. Mars represents our ability to take action and go after what we want. When Mercury conjuncts Mars, the mind picks up speed along with an edge of determination. Words can come out faster than intended. Assertive communication is well supported, and you may be ready to make a decision that has been waiting. The gap between thought and speech narrows; use that wisely with a clear understanding of the difference between assertion and aggression.
The Moon in Gemini keeps the day mentally active and curious. The emotional need of Gemini is to connect and exchange, to be in motion with ideas and people. In daily life, this looks like the pull toward conversation, the urge to learn something new, or the restlessness that sets in when the mind goes unstimulated.
- What do you know with certainty right now that you have been reluctant to say?
- What decision have you been waiting for more information on, when what is needed is your willingness to act?
- Where do you have clarity of commitment while still unsure of how to reach the outcome you desire?
Tuesday, April 21: Gemini Moon enters Cancer.
The Moon is still in Gemini throughout the morning, and Gemini is comfortable with exactly this kind of mental engagement. When the Moon is in Gemini, the emotional need is to connect and exchange ideas, to move forward with ideas and conversations. Follow a thread from yesterday if one is still open. A conversation this morning may take you somewhere that yesterday's thinking could not.
When the Moon enters Cancer at 1:00 pm, the emotional pace changes. When the Moon is in Cancer, our needs turn to safety and belonging, the felt sense of home. This is a good afternoon to spend with the people and places that restore you. Whatever the morning's mental activity, the afternoon and evening can allow to rest in nurturing comfort.
Wednesday, April 22: Moon in Cancer.
Today is a quiet day with only the Moon to guide us. The Moon remains in Cancer all day, offering an emotional current of protection, care, and support. However, today begins with a fair amount of tension. Cancer and Aries are in a square relationship to each other, and through the morning, the Moon moves through a series of squares to Saturn, Mars, and Mercury, all currently in Aries. A square brings friction, which produces pressure; the pressure asks something of us. The need for emotional safety (Cancer) and the demand for decisive forward motion (Aries) are not easy to hold at the same time, and you may feel that pull today.
At 6:52 pm EDT, the Moon conjuncts Jupiter in Cancer. Jupiter expands whatever it touches, and in Cancer, it expands the emotional capacity for generosity and care. Today closes with genuine nourishment, bringing the potential for meaningful connection.
- Where do you feel tension between what you need emotionally and an action you need to take?
- How can you meet today's demands without abandoning your emotional needs?
- How and with whom can you share emotional generosity and care this evening?
Thursday, April 23: Venus Conjunct Uranus. Moon enters Leo. First Quarter Moon.
Today begins with the Moon still in Cancer, carrying forward the emotional current of protection and care that has been with us for the past few days. At its best, the Cancer Moon puts us in the position of a protector. You may find yourself highly attuned to what and who needs looking after. Use this morning to connect with those you love.
At 3:40 pm EDT, the Moon enters Leo. The emotional need shifts from care to self-expression. You want to be seen and recognized for the unique person you truly are. This shifts our attention toward warmth and generosity and sets the stage for what the evening brings. With the Moon in Leo, at 10:31 pm, the First Quarter Moon arrives. This is a time when resistance requires that an action be taken to push forward the seed you planted at the New Moon last Friday. With the Moon in Leo, the action required may be quite visible and dramatic, in the best way.
At 9:58 pm EDT, Venus conjuncts Uranus. Venus represents our deepest values and how we relate to others. Uranus is the awakener, shaking off complacency and stagnancy. When these two meet, what we have taken for granted in the realm of love, money, or creative life can shift quickly. This conjunction can be exciting or anxiety-producing, and oftentimes it is both at once. You may find yourself unexpectedly drawn toward something or someone. You may find an attachment you thought was solid, but suddenly feels much less certain. A Venus-Uranus conjunction can bring people together without warning, and with equal suddenness, show someone the door.
It is worth noting that this conjunction occurs in the final degree of Taurus, and that both Venus and Uranus are about to move into Gemini. This is Uranus' final aspect in Taurus, where it has been since 2018. Conjunctions are always a time to begin a new storyline. Whatever story begins tonight carries the quality of a final question. Something you thought was settled, in the house that holds Taurus in your natal chart, may be about to erupt into a new story.
- What attachment are you carrying into Gemini that may not need to make the journey with you?
- What has shifted in your values or relationships since 2018 that you have not yet fully acknowledged?
- What would you be willing to release tonight if you trusted what was coming next?
Friday, April 24: Venus Enters Gemini. Moon in Leo.
Today begins with Venus newly in Gemini, having made the shift just after midnight. Venus has been happily developing her values in her home sign of Taurus since March 30th. Now, she enters Gemini, where she must make the best of exploring a more intellectual terrain. In Gemini, her attention moves to the variety of ways she can use curiosity and conversation to express the values she refined in the past weeks. Relationships need more conversation, more wit, and banter. In creative work, she favors broad experimentation. Note the house that holds Gemini in your natal chart, because that is where Venus will be engaging your values over the coming weeks, until she enters Cancer on May 18th.
The Moon remains in Leo all day; this offers emotional generosity, which naturally pairs well with Venus in Gemini's lightness and social appetite. The emotional need of Leo is to be seen and appreciated, and today that need comes with an easy, playful quality. This is a good day for creative expression, enjoyable conversation, and following genuine curiosity wherever it leads.
- What do you want to focus genuine curiosity on in the coming weeks?
- Where could more lightness and play serve you today?
Saturday, April 25: Sun Square Pluto. Uranus Ingress into Gemini. Moon Enters Virgo.
This is the day the entire week has been building toward and one of the most significant days of the year.
At 12:32 pm EDT, the Taurus Sun squares Pluto. This is the first quarter square in the Sun-Pluto cycle that began at their conjunction on January 23, 2026. Every planetary cycle has its own developmental arc, and the first quarter is where the seed planted at the conjunction meets its first real resistance. The Sun represents consciousness and identity. Pluto represents deep forces that do not yield easily to any effort; this is the planet of power and empowerment. This square may show a confrontation you have been trying to quietly manage rather than working with directly. It may bring a power dynamic into plain view. What actions need to be taken in the coming days to ensure the seed planted in January continues to grow healthy and strong?
Later in the day, Uranus completes its final ingress into Gemini, where it will remain through 2032. Uranus entered Gemini briefly between July and November of 2025 and gave us a preview of what was coming. Uranus brings awakening, and awakening is rarely comfortable. It can arrive as a sudden change, as a revolution in thinking, or as the kind of insight that cannot be walked back once it has landed. You see something you cannot unsee. What was acceptable before may no longer be. What felt settled may feel anything but. This is the nature of Uranus, and in Gemini it will work through the mind, through communication, through the stories we tell about how the world works and who we are within it. Expect both anxiety and excitement, often arriving together. The house that holds Gemini in your natal chart is where this awakening is rooted for you personally. This is not a transit to understand intellectually and move past. It is the beginning of a long conversation and profound change between you and that area of your life.
The Moon moves from Leo into Virgo at 9:04 pm EDT. Virgo's emotional need is to be useful and to understand how things work. As the intensity of the day settles, Virgo offers a grounded and discerning close.
- Looking back to January 23rd, what were you beginning to see about your own direction or power? Where does that thread stand today?
- What house holds Gemini in your natal chart, and what began to stir there between July and November of 2025?
- What would genuine alignment with your deeper direction require you to release right now?
Sunday, April 26: Venus Sextile Neptune. Mercury Square Jupiter. Moon in Virgo.
As we carry yesterday's intensity forward, today brings more active engagement. At 1:42 pm EDT, Venus, newly in Gemini, and Neptune form a sextile, offering an opportunity for receptivity in your connections. This is a wonderful time for any activity that asks you to hold beauty and meaning together. Enjoy the creative work of making beauty or making love. Open the door to any opportunity that feeds your heart or spirit today.
At 2:33 pm EDT. Mercury, in Aries, squares Jupiter, in Cancer. Aries and Cancer pull in conflicting directions, and with these planets involved, pay attention to the tendency toward inflated thinking, making ideas feel more certain than reality may support. It is important to hold the enthusiasm that Jupiter offers without mistaking it for a foregone conclusion. Think ambitiously and check your reasoning before you make any commitment.
The Moon in Virgo today grounds us and keeps discernment available. Virgo notices what is real and what is wishful. Given the Venus-Neptune sextile and the Mercury-Jupiter square, Virgo's discernment is a useful companion.
- What creative or imaginative project could use your full attention right now?
- Where are you thinking ambitiously, and what would it mean to test that thinking before acting on it?

TESTIMONIALS
My consultations with Laurie consistently bring clarity to what I am sensing or considering in my life. I often come in with an intuition or an idea that is forming, and our conversations help confirm what I am picking up on and show me how I can move forward with it. At the same time, Laurie helps me look back at past experiences in a way that makes sense of how the past is connected to what is happening in the present. I leave with a clearer understanding of where I have been and where I can go next.
Astrology has opened doors for me that most of us do not even realize are there. It has shown me things about myself that I would not otherwise have see. Working with Laurie feels a little like taking a short trip somewhere new. You return with a broader view of your life. Everyday situations, challenges, and even successes begin to make more sense because you have a broader perspective on what is happening.
- Mary H. Vermont March 2026
“I’ve been working with Laurie for over ten years. What keeps me coming back is the way our sessions help my life make sense. I’ll arrive with questions, or with a feeling that something is shifting, and when we sit down together, it’s reflected clearly in the charts. I can see why a certain pattern is showing up now and how to move through it instead of unconsiously reacting to it. There’s something deeply reassuring about that. It confirms that what I’m sensing isn’t imagined or exaggerated. There is timing to things. There are cycles at work. Instead of second-guessing myself, I leave with perspective and steadiness. Looking back over the years, I can see how this ongoing work has shaped the way I respond to my life. I’m more aware. I’m more intentional. It has changed the way I move forward. I would absolutely encourage anyone considering working with her to begin.” - NL Vermont 2026
